Lisanne Vuik
PR & Influencer Coordinator
How long have you been working at My Jewellery?
Since October 2020.
What does a typical workday look like for you?
Every day, I work on the PR and influencer strategy for each country, managing the team, ensuring budgets and schedules are met, and replying to emails. The work varies from day to day; one day I might be setting up an out-of-home campaign, and the next I’ll be busy planning an influencer event. It’s important to keep an eye on market trends and what interests the customer.
What steps have you taken since you started working here?
In 2020, I started as a PR & Influencer Marketer and after a few months I was asked to become PR & Influencer Coordinator, a role in which I manage the team and take the lead on strategy.

Since September 2023.
What do you do at My Jewellery?
I’m responsible for all paid collaborations with influencers. I also regularly organise influencer events, for example to launch new collections. I look for suitable influencers for both collaborations and the influencer events. I think it’s brilliant to work with the biggest and best-known influencers of the moment almost every day. We’re also constantly coming up with new ideas to stay innovative in the world of influencer marketing.
What makes your job so fun?
My lovely colleagues! We get on really well and can truly be ourselves. I find this incredibly valuable and am very grateful for it.
What is it like to work in the Influencer Marketing team?
The team is very welcoming. I was made to feel very welcome and immediately felt at home. I love that my colleagues and I discuss things a lot, such as new strategies, collaborations and new ideas for the different countries. Teamwork makes the dream work!

Influencer Marketer
How long have you been working at My Jewellery?
I’ve been working here since January 2022.
What does a typical workday look like for you?
I start my morning by catching up on my emails, which always contain requests for collaborations. I’m also busy looking for new content creators to promote our collections. To do this, I get in touch with their management and discuss the collaborations.
What makes your job so fun?
Working in a fast-growing company where ideas are always welcome! A day as an Influencer Marketer is always different because we have so many different projects on the go. That makes the work fun and challenging. What’s more, the personal contact we have with influencers during events and other activations is great fun! The run-up to events can be quite hectic. So, hearing and seeing that everyone is so enthusiastic is very rewarding.
What is it like to work in the Influencer Marketing team?
We get on really well together. We consult each other a lot and help one another out when needed. There’s a really great team spirit! So we work closely together and we also chat regularly outside of working hours.
What steps have you taken since you started working here?
I started at My Jewellery as an SEA specialist. After six months, during which I learnt a huge amount, I realised that I couldn’t fully utilise all my strengths in that role, so I switched to Influencer Marketing. It was a brilliant decision, because I’m now completely in my element!

I’m responsible for paid and unpaid collaborations with German influencers. I’m always on the lookout for new influencers who can best promote our collections. What makes your job so fun?
The fact that I happily open my laptop every day and that I really enjoy my work! When I’m in the office, I’m always happy to be there and to see my team.
What is it like to work in the Influencer Marketing team?
Even though I’m the only German-speaking member of the team, we get on really well and I enjoy working with them! I feel very much at home in the team.
