What do you do at My Jewellery?
I have overall responsibility for the Clothing Buying team. Together with my team, we put together beautiful collections and I oversee the strategy. It’s a combination of being creative and staying focused on the direction we’re heading.
What makes your job so fun?
I get a lot of energy from the work ethic at My Jewellery. You’re given a lot of freedom, and if you’re proactive and work hard, there are plenty of opportunities. My team also gives me energy; we really enjoy working together.
How would you describe the atmosphere within the Buying team?
There’s a great sense of camaraderie, but also professionalism. We have good discussions and take each other seriously. You achieve the best results through teamwork. We join forces and get better every year.
What are you proud of in your work or team?
That we source beautiful items every week and put together a strong collection. The best moment is when everything comes together, for example during a photoshoot.

How long have you been working at My Jewellery?
I’ve been working at My Jewellery since March 2019.
What does a typical workday look like for you?
Together with my colleague Michèlle, I’m responsible for the T-shirt and jumper range. As part of this, we design the most beautiful artwork and prints for the clothing every day and liaise with suppliers.
What makes your job so fun?
Every day is different and very varied. From digital design to working with fabrics and products. It’s precisely that combination that makes it so much fun. I get a real buzz from working with the most beautiful and fun products every day.
What is it like to work in the Buying team?
Our team works really well together and you can count on everyone. Everyone is incredibly creative and we inspire each other every day to develop the most beautiful products. When products do really well, we celebrate together. We’ve worked hard for that, so it’s always worth a celebration.
What does ‘Let’s grow together’ mean to you?
To me, this means that we strive together for even better products and that we continue to develop ourselves in our field.
Michèlle Drent

How long have you been working at My Jewellery?
Since February 2021.
What do you do at My Jewellery?
I design artwork and new styles for our T-shirt and jumper collections, as well as regularly for our other product ranges. I also research trends and adapt them to suit My Jewellery’s style. We hold regular meetings with the team to ensure the collections form a cohesive whole, and I then draw up the style sheets for our suppliers.
What makes your job so fun?
I really appreciate the creative freedom you get here. I enjoy the variety in my work and the fact that I can be creative every day. Plus, I work with a super creative and enthusiastic team!
How would you describe the atmosphere within the Buying team?
The atmosphere is really nice and creative. We work well together and help each other to keep improving the collections. We also organise fun, creative outings on a regular basis.
What steps have you taken since you started working here?
I started as a Print Designer, and my role has gradually expanded. Since 2025, I have developed into a Design Specialist. I now work on various styles and product groups.
What are you proud of in your work or team?
I love seeing my designs featured in our campaigns and boutiques, and spotting people on the street wearing them. That’s really lovely to see!

How long have you been working at My Jewellery?
I’ve been working at My Jewellery since August 2020.
What do you do at My Jewellery?
I’m jointly responsible for developing the best new collections. We look at the latest trends and analyses, ensuring they align with our brand identity. Developing the best collections from start to finish, alongside the best colleagues, makes every day a joy!
What makes your job so fun?
The growth we’re achieving as a company and seeing more and more customers shine in our collections!
What is it like to work in the Buying team?
It’s great fun! We have a really lovely and inspiring team.
What are you proud of in your work or team?
I started as a Financial Administration Assistant at My Jewellery. In 2021, I also began carrying out administrative tasks for the Purchasing team, where I drew a lot of energy from the creativity within the team. At the end of 2021, I made the switch to Production Controller. Since November 2024, I have been working as a Buyer.

I have been working at My Jewellery since January 2026.
What does a typical workday look like for you?
I spend a lot of time negotiating with suppliers regarding prices, terms and delivery times. I also attend the purchasing meetings and carry out analyses. I actively maintain relationships with our suppliers.
What makes your job so fun?
I mostly get energy from negotiating and securing the best price and margin. I also really enjoy working with the product. And being part of a fun, friendly team.
How would you describe the atmosphere within the Buying team?
The atmosphere is friendly and down-to-earth. We celebrate each other’s achievements and enjoy spending time together.
