How long have you been working at My Jewellery?
I’ve been working at My Jewellery since October 2018.
What do you do at My Jewellery?
I lead part of the buying team. Every day, we liaise with suppliers, work on the latest trends, develop new items and put together a complete clothing collection. I also focus on analysis to gain a better understanding of which products are performing well.
What is it like to work in the Buying team?
It’s really friendly and fun! We have a close-knit team, which creates an open and relaxed atmosphere in the department. Every day I challenge myself to learn something new, to stay eager to learn and to be curious about what the future holds. The team works really hard, but there’s always room for a joke.
What steps have you taken since you started working here?
I started as an intern in early 2018, was then offered a job as a Buyer, and have been a Purchasing Coordinator since 2022. The My Jewellery collection has changed enormously since I started here. We’ve taken major steps to reach a wider target audience and offer better quality and sizing. We’ve also grown a lot as a team. We started with a team of three and have now grown to over 20. We’re becoming increasingly specialised, which means we can develop more plans and continue to grow. It’s great to see how this has happened organically in such a short space of time.

How long have you been working at My Jewellery?
Since February 2021.
What does a typical workday look like for you?
Every day is different. I ensure the correct quality and sizing of our clothing. To do this, I measure the samples, examine the fabrics and try the samples on. I’m also in daily contact with our suppliers to supervise production remotely and ensure a beautiful end product!
What is it like to work in the Buying team?
Very varied and always fun! We work with a great team on the best collections for our customers.

How long have you been working at My Jewellery?
I joined My Jewellery in August 2024.
What do you do at My Jewellery?
I assist with measuring, fitting and addressing comments throughout the entire sample process. I also have my own portfolio of products, for which I maintain contact with the supplier and am responsible for sizing and quality. Being involved with clothing and fabrics every day, contributing ideas for new collections and working in a dynamic environment make the job really enjoyable for me!
How would you describe the atmosphere within the Buying team?
Really fun and very dynamic! No two days are the same, which makes it great. Together with the team, we work towards a single goal every day, which means everyone can inspire and motivate one another. We work hard here every day, but we certainly have a laugh too! That’s why I really enjoy going to work.
What steps have you taken since you started working here?
I started at My Jewellery as an intern. Since January 2025, I’ve been working full-time in the Buying team.
