The right products in the right place
“As Head of Merchandising Planning & Allocation, I work closely with different departments every day, such as Sales Channels, Visual Merchandising, Buying and Finance. Together, we make sure we plan the right assortment and allocate our collections in the best way across the different channels.”
“What I love about my role is that I connect different sides of the business. One moment I’m working on product strategy, the next I’m analysing financial results or looking at how products perform in our stores. No two days are the same, and that’s exactly what makes my work so interesting.”
Staying curious and looking ahead
“I’m naturally very curious, so I love learning something new every day. By working with so many teams, I constantly discover new perspectives, ideas and opportunities. That collaboration gives me a lot of energy. What also makes my role special is that my team is involved in the entire journey of a collection. From the first assortment planning to the moment the right products, with the right stock, are sent to the stores. After that, we continue to track how the collection performs and how customers respond to it. It’s so rewarding to see a collection successfully come to life.”
Moving in the same direction
“I’m proud that we truly work together as one team. Everyone plays an important role in the process, and we can only achieve our goals if we move in the same direction together. You can really feel that team spirit at My Jewellery. There’s a lot of collaboration between departments, and everyone brings their own expertise.
