Nikki van der Pol
Recruitment Coordinator
How long have you been working at My Jewellery?
I have been working at My Jewellery since September 27, 2021.
What do you do at My Jewellery?
I’m responsible for the recruitment process and serve as the point of contact for the team. Together, we’re dedicated to filling and drafting job openings, and we’re constantly working to improve our employer branding. I interview applicants and am in daily contact with various colleagues who all want one thing: to ensure we attract even more great colleagues to our team.
What makes your job so fun?
Every day feels like a celebration here. Together, we take steps forward. Usually moving ahead, sometimes staying in place for a moment, but always with positive energy. The shared drive to improve and grow, and the strength of the team spirit, make you want to be a part of it with joy. It’s that combination of ambition and collaboration that makes working here not only inspiring but also just incredibly fun.
What is it like to work in the Recruitment team?
Super fun! There are so many moments to celebrate, and we do. Not just with coffee breaks, lunches, outings, and company parties, but also in between on the work floor. For me, it’s especially the little things, those small successes you only realize in hindsight. That moment when you think: we’ve done it again!
What steps have you taken since you started working here?
I started as a Recruiter for the Headquarters. In early 2024, I was promoted to Recruitment Coordinator.

How long have you been working at My Jewellery?
I’ve been working at My Jewellery since February 2025. Time has flown by; the pace and ambition at My Jewellery are a great fit for me.
What does a typical workday look like for you?
Every day, I’m busy hiring new colleagues for our Headquarters. Due to our rapid growth, many teams are expanding, and there’s a constant need for additional expertise. It’s so much fun to welcome new, enthusiastic people all the time.
What makes your job so fun?
I meet a lot of ambitious and motivated people who really want to work with us. It’s great to work for a company with such a strong brand because candidates are making a conscious choice to join My Jewellery.
What is it like to work in the Recruitment team?
We have a really close-knit team; we get along well and work together very smoothly. We’ve grown into a stable team, which means we can now really build on that foundation.
What does ‘Let’s grow together’ mean to you?
For me, growth is mainly about adapting to and keeping up with the organization’s fast pace and big ambitions. Together with the team, we’ve made our recruitment process increasingly professional, but we’re not there yet. We still face plenty of challenges with our strong international growth.

Recruiter My Warehouse
How long have you been working at My Jewellery?
Since April 1, 2025.
What do you do at My Jewellery?
As a Recruiter for My Warehouse, it’s all about making connections. I bring people together with My Warehouse, looking beyond just a resume. Personality and team fit are my top priorities. My workdays are anything but routine. From coordinating with hiring managers and writing job postings to sourcing and interviewing candidates, I guide the entire recruitment process. What makes my work extra special is the personal connection. Getting to know candidates, seeing their enthusiasm grow, and sharing the My Jewellery story with them. That’s what really energizes me.
What makes your job so fun?
The strong sense of teamwork within the teams. Everyone brings their own expertise to the table, but it’s precisely by working together that we tackle challenges and achieve success. The atmosphere within the teams is open, personal, and positive, with accessible communication.
What does ‘Let’s grow together’ mean to you?
To me, this means freedom and trust. Sharing ideas, taking initiative, and trying new things are encouraged.

How long have you been working at My Jewellery?
I’ve been working at My Jewellery since March 1, 2018.
What makes your job so fun?
The best colleagues, the friendly atmosphere where there’s always room for a joke, and the fact that I can be 100% myself. The best part is that I get to share this experience with future colleagues and show them how great it is to work here.
What steps have you taken since you started working here?
I started as a Customer Service Representative. After a few months, I was given the opportunity to lead this department. By contributing to My Jewellery’s social media channels, I discovered my passion for content creation during this time. This gave me so much energy that I decided to take a new step. I made the switch to the Branding team, where I focused primarily on creating content. After 5.5 years, I felt it was time for a new challenge and decided to leave My Jewellery. I soon realized how much I missed the company, my colleagues, and the trust we shared. So, on Valentine’s Day in 2024, I sent a love letter to My Jewellery… and here I am again! Now as a Recruiter for Retail, a new challenge that I’m thoroughly enjoying.

How long have you been working at My Jewellery?
I’ve been working here since December 2025.
What does a typical workday look like for you?
Every day, I work on retail job openings, especially for management positions. I have a lot of contact with applicants and manage the process for existing and new Boutiques. Sometimes I travel abroad to build a completely new team together with colleagues. In addition, we’re constantly working on optimising recruitment because we’re growing so fast.
What makes your job so fun?
I get energy from talking to lots of different people and learning about other work cultures. What I love most is seeing that perfect match in someone who really fits at My Jewellery and can contribute to our growth. I also really enjoy the dynamic. We’re growing so fast that I’m always curious about new plans and countries, and how I can contribute to them myself.
How would you describe the atmosphere within the Recruitment team?
The atmosphere is informal and friendly. We work hard, but we really listen to each other. Whether we need to solve a problem or just have a blast together, we truly do it as a team.
What are you proud of in your work or team?
I’m proud to be part of this growing company. I get the chance to develop myself and make a real contribution, together with my team. I’ve already learned so much in such a short time. Everything moves fast, you experience a lot, and you get the chance to really make a difference. For me, this is a great step both personally and professionally.

How long have you been working at My Jewellery?
I’ve been working here since April 1, 2025.
What do you do at My Jewellery?
I handle everything related to our employer brand. I do this for the Boutiques, the Headquarters, and My Warehouse. Each target audience is different, so we tailor our approach accordingly. I also work with the Recruiters to identify which job openings need extra attention so we can give them a boost.
What makes your job so fun?
I handle both operational tasks and larger projects related to our employer brand. Because of that, no two days are the same. And as the only Recruitment Marketer, I have a lot of freedom to launch new ideas and make a real impact. Our team tackles everything head-on and we stay optimistic, even when challenges arise. Together, we make the employer brand a little stronger every time, and I’m proud of that.
How would you describe the atmosphere within the Recruitment team?
We work hard to support the company’s growth, but there’s also plenty of laughter and chatting. We celebrate our team’s successes and our colleagues’ personal achievements, have lunch together every day in the Bistro, and are always sharing the latest podcast or TV show recommendations.
What does ‘Let’s grow together’ mean to you?
Continuously improving myself and the brand. We’re given a lot of freedom to take initiative. Since I started, I’ve learned to really embrace that freedom. I want to keep growing in employer branding and further expand my expertise.
