Merchandise Planner – Clothing
Role Overview
As a Merchandise Planner for the clothing category, you will be responsible for planning, forecasting, and optimizing the performance of the apparel range across all sales channels. You will play a key role in driving commercial success by ensuring the right product is available at the right time, in the right quantities.
Working in close collaboration with Buying, E-commerce, Wholesale and Retail teams, you will help shape the clothing assortment and support the brand’s continued growth as it expands its store network.
Key Responsibilities:
Own demand forecasting, seasonal planning, and in-season trading for the clothing category
Translate sales data and trends into actionable insights to optimize assortment and stock levels
Partner closely with Buyers to define range structure, depth, and pricing strategies
Collaborate with Retail, Wholesale and E-commerce teams to align on sales performance and channel needs
Monitor KPIs (sell-through, margins, stock cover) and proactively identify risks and opportunities
Collaborate with Allocation Team to define stock allocation and replenishment strategies and support new store openings with effective planning and inventory management
Contribute to continuous improvement of planning tools, processes, and reporting
Your Profile:
Experience in merchandise planning, allocation, or a similar analytical role within fashion or retail
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into commercial actions
Advanced Excel skills; experience with planning tools or BI systems is a plus
Collaborative mindset with strong stakeholder management skills
Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, scaling environment
Passion for fashion and understanding of market trends
