English Copywriter

My Jewellery is looking for a driven and passionate English Copywriter to become part of our growing international team! Are you who we’re looking for?

As part of its international growth strategy My Jewellery has a Dutch, English, German and French website alongside more than 40 boutiques across The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Paris. As we continue to optimise our English store view we’re looking for a creative, passionate and driven English Copywriter to join our growing international team. As the English Copywriter you’ll be part of the Content/Ecommerce team and be responsible for creating and translating creative, relevant and search-engine friendly copy for a wide variety of purposes. Your knowledge of the British English language, ability to capture the My Jewellery tone of voice, and skills in SEO are key to engaging with our target audience, allowing us not only to enhance but also expand our international markets.

Tasks

• Create high quality copy for the English storeview

• Product descriptions, web pages, blog posts, brand texts, B2B & B2C, social media;

• Edit and/or write SEO copy for the international website;

• Translate different forms of copy from Dutch to correct & natural British English:

• Optimise and edit existing copy;

• Work closely with our English Content Marketeer, International copywriters & Editor-in-Chief;

• Guarantee a fresh and engaging writing style with the My Jewellery tone-of-voice for our English channels;

• Follow the latest trends in copywriting and social media to generate new ideas.

• Excellent level of written and spoken English (C1-level or higher);

• Accuracy, eye for detail & interest in the latest copywriting trends;

• A Bachelors Degree in Communications / Marketing;

• Experience in commercial translation and writing is preferred;

• Experience in writing for the web (SEO);

• Experience with brand tone-of-voice;

• Keen interest in the jewellery and fashion industry.
