Job description

As Head of Marketing and MT member at My Jewellery, you will have final responsibility for the marketing domain and will guide the (international) growth of the brand. You will determine the strategic marketing course and translate this into clear annual plans and priorities. Within the Management Team, you will be an important sparring partner in the areas of brand, growth, and commercial choices.

In this role, the focus is on strategy, leadership, and decision-making. You are not involved in the execution yourself, but you create frameworks, make choices, and ensure coherence between brand, performance, and international ambitions. You monitor the balance between brand consistency and local performance in multiple markets and work closely with commerce and creation.

You will indirectly manage a marketing organization of approximately 21 FTE, spread across multiple disciplines such as brand, performance, CRM, email, and influencer marketing. You will directly manage the marketing coordinators, who are responsible for day-to-day management within their field. You will coach them in their role, build a scalable structure, and ensure that the team is ready for further international growth.

Your role in four themes

Strategy & MT

  • You are an active member of the Management Team and help determine the strategic course

  • You act as a sparring partner for the MT on brand, growth, and commercial priorities

  • You make sharp choices in budget allocation and priorities

Marketing vision & annual strategy

  • You develop and monitor the overarching marketing vision and annual strategy

  • You translate this vision into impactful campaigns and annual plans in broad terms

  • You monitor brand consistency across all (international) markets

Leadership & organization

  • You directly manage marketing coordinators and indirectly manage approximately 21 FTE

  • You strengthen the coordinators in their leadership and responsibilities

  • You build a scalable marketing organization that supports international growth

  • You encourage strong collaboration between marketing and creation

Data & performance

  • You develop and monitor a clear KPI framework for brand and performance

  • You focus on ROI, effectiveness, and long-term impact of campaigns

  • You ensure continuous optimization based on data and insights

Job requirements

  • At least 12–15 years of experience in marketing, including several years in a final responsibility role

  • Experience with indirectly managing a multidisciplinary marketing team of approximately 20+ FTEs

  • Experience in managing and developing coordinators or similar roles

  • Demonstrable experience in marketing within e-commerce and international markets

  • Strong strategic and analytical skills, with a clear focus on data and results

  • You get energy from providing direction, making choices, and helping leaders grow

  • This role is less suitable for you if you prefer to be involved in day-to-day operations
