Job description
Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for fashion, data, and growth? As Head of Planning & Allocation at My Jewellery, you will ensure that our creative vision is translated into smart, data-driven decisions. You will form the bridge between commerce and creativity, making you a key player in our success.
As Head of Planning & Allocation, you will develop omnichannel inventory and allocation strategies that maximize our revenue, profit, and customer satisfaction. You will manage a team of planners and allocators, optimize inventory flows, and work closely with merchandising, finance, and supply chain, among others. You will translate creative plans into well-considered commercial choices.
What you will be doing:
• Developing and implementing merchandise planning and allocation strategies across all sales channels
• Leading and coaching the planning & allocation team (currently consisting of 3 people)
• Optimizing inventory management, replenishment, and allocation decisions
• Translating creative concepts into commercially strong assortment strategies
• Managing OTB budgets and forecasting processes;
• Analyzing KPIs such as sell-through, inventory turnover, and SKU productivity;
• Initiating process improvements, process innovation, and implementing new tools and analytics.
Job requirements
What do you bring to the table?
• 10+ years of experience in merchandise planning, allocation, or inventory management, preferably in multi-channel fashion retail;
• Experience with omnichannel and e-commerce environments;
• Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking, including retail metrics, financial modeling, and scenario planning;
• Ability to combine deep analytical insights with an appreciation for creative processes;
• Experience in managing and developing teams;
• Demonstrable experience in process optimization, process innovation, and change management;
• Experience in women's fashion is a strong advantage;
• Excellent communication skills and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
