From side job to career
“I started at My Jewellery in 2018 as a Boutique Employee. It was my first introduction to the brand, and the connection immediately felt right. After graduating, I got the opportunity to join the Headquarters as a Product Content Administrator. That role taught me so much about our collections, processes and the brand itself. After two years, I moved into the role of Digital Merchandiser. A completely different challenge, but incredibly educational!”
“When I was asked to apply for the role of Buying Assistant, I didn’t have to think twice. This was the direction that truly excited me. Since then, I’ve grown into the role of Buyer, where I work on developing our jewellery, accessories and swimwear collections every day. From trend analysis and supplier contact to fine-tuning designs: I’m involved in the entire process, and that’s what makes it so exciting.”
Potential over experience
“Your background matters less than your drive. If you’re willing to go for something and show what you’re capable of, there are so many opportunities at My Jewellery. I never expected to move from the Product Content team into Buying, but my potential was recognised here and I was given the chance to grow.”
