Every colleague at My Jewellery has a unique story. About seizing opportunities, taking new steps and growing a little every day. Behind every sparkling result is a team full of power, where every contribution matters. Anouk shares her story and shows how she makes a difference.
Every lunch made with care
“From Monday to Thursday, you’ll find me in the Bistro at our Headquarters. Every day, I prepare fresh sandwiches, soups, salads and warm snacks. From creating the menus to purchasing ingredients and preparing lunch: I manage everything myself. No day is the same, and that’s exactly what makes it so much fun.”
“What I love most is that colleagues genuinely look forward to lunch. Some people hope all week that a certain sandwich or soup will be back on the menu. Seeing colleagues happy with something I made truly gives me energy.”
Growing by continuing to try new things
“What I enjoy about my job is that I get to experiment a lot. Colleagues can always share ideas or suggestions, and then I look at whether it fits the menu. That keeps me trying new things. Sometimes something becomes an instant hit, and sometimes you notice it works less well. Through feedback and new ideas, you keep developing yourself.”
“In my role, I get a lot of freedom and trust. I can create the menus myself and bring in my own creativity. That’s why the Bistro really feels like my place.”
Growing together in a positive atmosphere
“When I started, around 50 colleagues had lunch in the Bistro each day. Now, that number sometimes reaches 100. It’s amazing to see how much the Bistro has grown, while we still prepare everything fresh every single day. I’ve also grown personally. I’ve learned that communication can sometimes be softer and more positive. Especially through working with colleagues, I’ve learned a lot about that, and I truly take that with me.”
The small moments make it special
“What makes working at My Jewellery so enjoyable for me? The atmosphere, the freedom and the team spirit. I can completely be myself here and feel very appreciated by my colleagues. And it’s the small moments that make it special. Having coffee together in between, helping each other when it’s busy or laughing together during the lunch rush. Those are the moments that make me enjoy going to work every single day.”
