Every colleague at My Jewellery has a unique story. About seizing opportunities, taking new steps and growing a little every day. Behind every sparkling result is a team full of power, where every contribution matters. Karlijn shares her story and shows how she makes a difference.

Growth starts with curiosity

“I started at My Jewellery in 2020 as a Junior Customer Care Employee. After that, I grew into a Senior role and in April 2022 I got the opportunity to become a Team Lead. That felt exciting, but I knew it was the right moment to take the next step. In that role, I worked closely with My Warehouse, which sparked my interest in logistics and warehouse processes. When a position opened up as Process Improvement Specialist, I applied immediately.

Since May 2023, I’ve been fully in my place in this new role, where I focus every day on making our processes smarter, more efficient and easier to work with. That means a lot of meetings, testing, adjusting and listening to the people on the work floor. No two days are the same, and that’s exactly what keeps the job fun and challenging.

The move from Customer Care to My Warehouse actually felt very natural. I went through interviews just like an external candidate, to make sure it was the right fit from both sides. And it absolutely was. I truly believe that if you commit yourself and stay open to growth, you can go in any direction within My Jewellery.”

Growing beyond your comfort zone

“What I’ve learned? You should always choose what makes you happy. Sometimes you’re comfortable in your role, and suddenly a new opportunity comes along that makes you think: why not just try it? What’s the worst that can happen? You’ll always learn something from it. My Jewellery really gives you that space, and that’s what makes it a place where you can truly keep growing.”

“Growth often starts the moment you try something you’ve never done before. By staying curious and seizing opportunities, you discover how much is possible.”
