Every colleague at My Jewellery has a unique story. About seizing opportunities, taking new steps and growing a little every day. Behind every sparkling result is a team full of power, where every contribution matters. Alicia shares her story and shows how she makes a difference.

A role full of growth and responsibility

“As Retail Coordinator Germany, I focus on our retail activities in Germany. I work on strong structures and processes, coach our teams and make sure, together with colleagues, that My Jewellery is represented in the best possible way in the German market. Of course, I don’t do that alone. I work closely with our Boutique teams, HR and the Retail Backoffice team. And my right hand is Charlotte Kirsky, our Area Manager. She is such an important part of my journey. Together, we build Retail Germany and support each other, both professionally and personally.”

Building further every day

“I feel motivated every day because I’m part of something big that keeps getting bigger. Germany is a market full of opportunities, and it gives me so much energy to help build a strong foundation for our growth there. What makes my work even more special is that my contribution is truly seen. By colleagues, by managers and by the teams I work with. That gives me confidence and motivation to keep building, improving and taking new steps every day.”

Proud of the people behind the results

“When I look back on the past few years, I’m proud of what we have achieved together. Germany continues to grow. Our results are getting stronger, the market is developing and our foundation is becoming more solid. But what I may be even prouder of are the people behind those results. We haven’t just grown in number of colleagues, but also as a team. I see people developing personally, taking ownership and becoming stronger in their roles. That is amazing to see.”

“One milestone that really stands out to me is that, together with my colleagues, I was involved in the opening of 12 out of 13 Boutiques in Germany. That is something I’m incredibly proud of. It shows how much attention, dedication and power there is within our team.”

Growing in a new market

“I started as Key Account Manager for DACH within the Sales team, where I worked on the first major B2B successes. After that, I combined sales and retail as Sales & Retail Coordinator DACH. Today, I fully focus on Retail Germany, together with Charlotte.”

“When I look back, I realise how much responsibility and growth I have experienced in a relatively short period of time. Every new step brought new challenges, but also new opportunities to keep developing myself. What I’ve learned most is that growing in a new market always works both ways. It’s not only about introducing My Jewellery in Germany, but also about understanding the German market, culture and way of working better and better. You don’t build success alone. You do it together, by listening, learning and strengthening each other.”

Different characters, one goal

“When do I feel most at home at My Jewellery? When I see our core values every day: sparkling, optimistic, caring and powerful. Whether I’m at Head Office or in contact with our retail teams in Germany, you can feel that energy everywhere.”

“Within Team Germany, we all have very different characters and perspectives. That is exactly what makes us strong. We complement each other, think along and all work towards the same goal. That combination of connection, ambition and teamwork is what makes My Jewellery truly feel like home to me.”
