Every day full of energy and attention
“No two days are the same, and that’s exactly what makes my job so much fun. I start my day by checking emails and opening the tills. After that, we have a team briefing so everyone knows what the day will bring. From there, my day is a mix of administration, helping customers, hosting workshops and leading the team.”
“I spend most of my day at the workshop table. There, I guide customers during our Atelier workshops and make sure everyone gets the attention they need. I also think it’s important that the Boutique always looks its best and that customers feel welcome from the moment they walk in.”
Making a difference through small moments
“What makes my job so special is the combination of people, results and variety. I get a lot of energy from coaching my team, achieving goals and creating meaningful customer moments. Of course, it’s amazing when we hit our targets or even break sales records, but it’s just as important to me when customers leave the store with a big smile on their face.”
“One moment I’ll never forget was when a pregnant customer attended a workshop together with her mother. She created a bracelet with the name of her unborn baby as a gift for when the baby would be born. Seeing the happiness on their faces made that moment incredibly special. Those are exactly the moments we do it for.”
Proud of what we achieve together
“What am I most proud of? Without a doubt, my team. We have a dedicated and motivated team that always strives for the best results. Everyone brings their own personality, style and talents, and that’s exactly what makes us strong. I’m also incredibly proud of the record sales we’ve achieved together. Those are the moments when I think: we really did this together. Success is never about one person here. It’s always a team effort.”
Growth never stops
“To me, ‘Let’s grow together’ means that you’re never done learning. Almost five years ago, I started as an Assistant Manager, and today I’m the Store Manager of the Atelier in Breda. From day one, I felt seen and supported in my development.”
“Over the years, I’ve learned a lot about myself. I used to be quite chaotic, whereas now I’m very organised. But what makes me even prouder is that I’ve been able to support colleagues in their growth. Some started as weekend staff members in my team and now work at Head Office in roles that perfectly match their studies. Knowing that I played a small part in that gives me so much satisfaction.”

“What makes our team special is the energy. Everyone wants to be involved in our goals, successes and challenges. Even when things don’t go as planned, we work together to find ways to improve.”
